Consumer Information
Consumer Information
The University publishes this page so that prospective students, regulators and the public can see its current status clearly and in the University's own controlled words. The statements below are the same statements the University uses in every other publication. They change only when the facts change.
Institutional identity
Grand American University LLC is a private limited liability company organised in the State of Utah (entity number 14718320-0160). It is owned by its sole member, Dr Prasenjit Kumar Singh.
Utah registration status
Grand American University LLC has not yet been issued a registration certificate by the Utah Division of Consumer Protection. It is not enrolling students and does not accept applications or payments.
The Utah Postsecondary School and State Authorization Act (Utah Code Title 13, Chapter 34) requires a postsecondary school to file a registration statement and obtain a registration certificate from the Division of Consumer Protection before operating in Utah. The University is preparing that statement. A registration certificate, when issued, is not an approval or endorsement of a school by the Division or the State of Utah.
Accreditation
Grand American University LLC is not accredited by any accrediting agency recognised by the United States Department of Education or by any other accrediting body. Its degree programmes are not accredited. Credits and degrees earned at the University may not transfer to, or be recognised by, other institutions, employers, professional bodies or licensing authorities. It is the student's responsibility to check acceptance with any institution or employer before enrolling.
Professional licensure
No programme of the University prepares students for, or leads to, any professional licence, teaching licence or certification.
Location and mode of delivery
The University's mailing address is 7533 S Center View Ct, #6241, West Jordan, UT 84084. Its registered agent is Northwest Registered Agent LLC, 7533 S Center View Ct, Ste N, West Jordan, UT 84084. The University has no campus. All teaching is online, delivered by faculty located in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Current enrolment territory
The University is not yet enrolling students in any location.
Student outcomes
The University has not yet enrolled any student. No completion, graduation or return-rate data exist.
There is therefore at present no graduation or completion rate and no first-year return rate to report. No programme of the University is designed for professional licensure, so no licensure-examination pass rate applies. The University makes no representation about the effect of any programme on a student's employment or earnings. Outcomes will be published on this page, in the form the University's outcomes procedure sets, once actual cohorts exist.
Applications and payments
The University is not accepting applications, enrolment agreements, tuition, deposits or any other student payment. No one may apply, enrol or pay through this website or by any other route at this stage. Before any enrolment agreement is offered, the University will provide each applicant with a written Pre-Enrolment Disclosure Pack containing its tuition and charges, cancellation and refund policy, financial-protection statement, complaint route and outcomes statement, and will obtain the applicant's acknowledgement before accepting any agreement or payment.
Complaints and the Utah Division of Consumer Protection
The Utah Division of Consumer Protection administers the registration of postsecondary schools in Utah and enforces the State's consumer-protection laws. Registration with the Division is not an approval or endorsement. Any member of the public may contact the Division or file a complaint with it.
